It's Like a Zoo Here!
It's always interesting when you come back from lunch with your coworkers, and, when pulling into the zoo, the driver exclaims, "Oh my god, it's a llama!" And lo and behold... it's a llama. In the middle of the parking lot/road. Too bad I didn't get my camera up in time.

After witnessing the duck massacre and reading some fortune cookies, I’m afraid to come back for fear that something weird will happen with the elephants.
In South Dakota, the same thing happens with cows. You're driving down the highway and you see something blocking it, but you're not quite sure what it is, until you're there. And suddenly? You have to stop. You can't run it over and you can't go around it. You just have to stare it down until it moves.
